Achievements and Community Contributions in 2024

Our Salesforce team at iTelaSoft keeps scaling further heights fulfilling each and every requirement and commitment to the community. Regionally, the team has managed to level up the Sri Lankan Salesforce Ohana while globally, the team has been making big impacts also in the past one year. We are proud to present some of our success stories and community efforts in 2024 which underline our commitment to strengthening the Salesforce ecosystem.

Major Achievements of ITelaSoft's Salesforce Team

Global Recognition as Thought Leaders

Our team members have been represented for iTelaSoft at numerous notable Salesforce events across the world where they were able to share with audiences their knowledge, including as presenters himself in events such as:

1. Chamil Madusanka was one of the main speakers at London’s Calling 2024

The biggest event for Salesforce experts, power users and MVPs which took place this year in London. By delivering the speech Mr. Chamil was able to showcase his unique insights which was the main purpose of his visit. You could say this was a significant event for both the speaker and the company who was represented there.

2. Bharat Dreamin 2024

It is one of the most important and biggest community driven Salesforce events in India and Bharat Dreamin had the participants from various other countries as well. Chamil made a speech on behalf of iTelaSoft thereby raising the profile of the company and its brand internationally.

3. Yarl Dreamin 2024

Yarl Dreamin is the very first Salesforce community event directly organised by the community from Sri Lanka, iTelaSoft’s Salesforce team made its noteworthy contribution to the event. Chamil also featured as one of the invited speakers and conducted several sessions for the participants.

Success at Yarl Dreamin 2024

The iTelaSoft team did to just take part — they did win. At Yarl Dreamin 2024, the social media flagship of our Salesforce team managed to win five awards among which were Prizes in quiz competitions, and prizes in social media competition as well. This accomplishment puts into perspective our team’s hands-on technical skill, speed of learning and enthusiasm for professional growth.

These rewards recognise not only the achievements of single persons but also the achievements of the entire team or a specified community which stands for every company’s spirit, collaboration and strength. The achievement of iTelaSoft is not only growth in numbers but in heart as well.

Technical Excellence and Book Contributions

Nipunu Wijesinghe, one of our team members, was a technical reviewer for the book “Salesforce Automation with Salesforce Flow and Apex”. It has received support and technical review from the iTelaSoft team who have an in-depth understanding of Salesforce. This book has been published by BPB Publications under the leadership and authorship of Salesforce MVP Om Prakash. It provides a detailed description of the global Salesforce community. All of these interactions place iTelaSoft under the umbrella of broader Salesforce.

15+ Salesforce Certifications in 2024

Upskilling and continuous learning are at the core of our team’s culture. In the course of 2024, each and every one of our team members managed to secure 15+ Salesforce certifications which is a proof of their dedication towards professional improvement. This achievement emphasises not only the professional skills of the team but also the level of services to the clients. From admin certifications to domain-specific certifications, the ITelaSoft team keeps up with Salesforce in every way possible.

Chamil Madusanka Inducted into the Salesforce MVP Hall of Fame

Chamil Madusanka, the Salesforce Practice Lead at iTelaSoft, in 2024 during a standing administration achieved the greatest honour of being inducted into the Salesforce MVP Hall of Fame. This is an exclusive award given to those selected people whose long-term association in the salesforce ecosystem serves high impact resulted in numerous significant and meaningful changes. Chamil becomes the first one in Sri Lanka to possess such honour which is a great achievement not only for ITelaSoft but also the entirety of the Sri Lankan Salesforce Ohana. This accolade is a marker of the overall support Chamil can give as a community leader, with his forward-looking views, and as a supportive mentor and sponsor of the community.

Community Contributions and Social Responsibility

ITelaSoft is of the opinion that there is much to be done and focuses on assisting the Salesforce community in Sri Lanka. ITelaSoft drives a range of programs to enhance working, networking, and learning opportunities for Salesforce experts in Sri Lanka.

Sponsorship of Community Events

As part of its effort to enhance the Sri Lankan Salesforce Ohana, ITelaSoft sponsors the organisation of meetups, workshops, and training sessions. These sponsorships include venue, logistics, and other event management costs which enable the attendees to concentrate on activities aimed at acquiring new knowledge and networks.

Hosting Salesforce Saturday Events

As a Salesforce-driven community initiative, Salesforce Saturday allows Salesforce Fans to come together and work on Trailhead modules and preparation activities for certification. iTelaSoft provides the venue, resources, and support that makes it successful, so the community can run Salesforce Saturday events and learn through sessions. Contributions that go into initiatives like the AI Associate and AI Specialist Trailmix certifications are among the examples of what iTelaSoft promotes with regards of community learning.

Internship Program

One of the most practical approaches iTelaSoft uses to help the Salesforce ecosystem is providing internship opportunities to students. In 2024, four interns became a part of iTelaSoft’s Salesforce team and worked on actual projects. Such initiatives provide a broad base of potential Salesforce experts for the future. Thus, Sri Lanka will continue to be a hub for Salesforce talents.

Looking Ahead

The milestones that we reached as a Salesforce team in 2024 are a demonstration of knowledge, joined effort and leadership. Global speaking events, getting into the Hall of fame, community support, the team knows how to lead with a purpose. ITelaSoft continues to assist the development of the Salesforce community, invest into the future specialists, and raise the bar for the industry in relation to high professionalism and social responsibility.

As we plan for 2025, we look forward to this next phase of expansion and impact on the community. Our Salesforce team will drive innovation, support clients’ success and advance the work in the community.
